"Storytelling is such an art, and there are some virtuosos in Edinburgh this summer. Daniel Kitson’s First Thing is a work in progress that will be performed in Paines Plough’s roundabout space. Wright and Grainger’s The Gods, The Gods, The Gods (Summerhall) is a late mixture of music and storytelling from a company who know their Greek myths and how to spin a beguiling tale, and James Rowland has won a big following for his shows and returns this year with Piece of Work about a life-changing road trip. But the show I’m really looking forward to is Casey Jay Andrews’ latest—Oh My Heart, My Home.—which she will tell to an audience gathered around a doll’s house. One of Andrew’s previous shows, The Archive of Educated Hearts, will always have a place in my heart, so I’m definitely going to catch this tale of place, space, and what it means to us." - Lyn Gardner
